Answer
You may never have never been over your minutes, but it happens. Roberts exactly right. Everyone says theres no way they could of gone over on their minutes. I hear it every day. There are ways to keep track of your minutes, which was also previously said.brbrIf youre going to call in, make sure you know whos name its under, mom, or dad? your cell phone number, and the last four digits of their social security number. Without that, you cant do very much. If youre polite and respectful, you may get a nice rep who will be willing to adjust half your usage if you change your plan or possibly just take pity on you. If customer service doesnt get you anywherewhich it may not, since the charges are valid, I would tell your parents what happened. Own up to your mistake. Theyll respect you for it and admire your maturity. Say im sorry, and offer to pay for it. Few parents would actually ground you for telling the truth.brAlso, if you truly believe it was not you, you can review the usage online or on the paper billif you have detailed call billing and find out who used your phone. If you think somebody else actually rung up those charges, you can put a security lock on it so only you can use it with a password. brbrOh and about this suggestion quotThreaten to leave their company but stand your ground, eventually theyll probably get sick of you and credit your account.quot brThats not a good idea. Because every time you threaten to leave a cell phone company, they do a quick evaluation of your account. If it would be a better business decision to go ahead and let you cancel, you just might end up closing your parents account or at least your line. Then youd really be in trouble.brOh and cell phone companies usually dont charge you for calling them.
