A DVD bought in the UK will be Region whereas North America Canada and USA are Region . This means that your DVDs wont play in their machine unless they have a multi region DVD player. brbrYou can always get them to search for a code on the internet which will make their DVD player mutil region though. They need to search for the make and model of player they have with multi region code into Google. Once they have found it just follow the instructions!brbrIf you wish to give them DVDs as a present I suggest either purchasing Region discs online or buying them over there.brbrAs far as I know the coding for the different regions is determined by one file on the disc, all the rest if the data is the same. Just agree to pay any overage yourself. Thats what I do. My mom never technically got a texting plan, but I do it anyways. So, when the bill comes every month, I just pay what I owe in texting its usually not much. I just hope that my mom remembers to get a texting plan next time.brbrNext time, try to keep a close eye on your texting, it is easy to lose track. I dont see why they wouldnt support you. You can buy blackberries in pawnshops and get them put on a plan. You can also buy phones off eBay. I dont think they care where you got the phone as long as they get your money every month.

it should be possible if the tv has a scart euroconnector on the backwhen you want to watch the dvd press quotavquot or on your remote. most recorders also accomodate for standard ariel output you treat these in the same way as a normal video recorder.

The only reason people say PS or X will dominate Wii is because the both have way better graphics, and support HD. Just because Wii doesnt have supercomputer type graphics, doesnt mean it will get dominated. Whoever told you that doesnt know what they are talking about. Wii will most likely come out on top because of its amazing games, and innovative controllers, and the virtual console. Its also cheaper than the others.

I worked at Best Buy and you wouldnt believe how many of these walked out the door and came back only weeks later. Quality is poor. I wouldnt waste your money on it. I would reccomend Creative Zen. They are a heck of a lot cheaper and stand up to a lot more. My husband owns a gb and myself an gb and you wouldnt believe how many times we have dropped each and never had a problem. iPod you drop it... the screen cracks or stops playing songs. I have cingular too well, ATT now and I pay two or three dollars a month for a warranty. It covers lost, stolen, broken etc. If you do not have it, you have to buy your replacement or wait until your contract is up and they offer you a new phone for free.brbrTake the phone apart and remove everything that can be taken out like the battery and sim card. Then lay it in the sun to dry or take a hair dryer on low and dry it. If you have a food dehydrator, you can place it on the top rack and dry it like this too.

Apple took great pains to court the music industry into offering music on iTunes, as well as set themselves up as the best in business. iTunes downloads are not in MP format, they are in a unique music format designed to play only on iPods and your computer. As for the iPods themselves, once you put music onto them, it is nearly impossible to transfer it to another computer, or backup your music library. The players are quite easily broken you wouldnt know it from the commercials of people dancing around, iPod in hand and there are reports of the internal batteries dying quickly, too. Apple has a whole motherload of accessories for the iPod but with the amount of money these devices cost, you would expect more flexibility with music transfers, as well as a more extensive warranty. My advice would be to look into some of the newer MP players that are now on the market from other companies. You might get a more convient player at a lower cost. Good luck!

PS Best looking, good exclusive titles MGS, resistance, motorstorm, plays blurays, has free online gaming, has the best graphics, has the fastest processor, can be used as a media play as it can play videos can use divx, music and photos and if you install linux, can be your pc as well. The bad points are that its a bit heavy if you need to move it frequently, games are a bit expensive at the moment but they are falling in price and some people find the console expensive compared to the wii and xbox !

If there is a headphone socket on your cassette player then its easy. You will need a cable with a stereo jack plug .mm at each end. You will also need a recording programme, I use audiograbber which is a free download. Then plug the cable into the headphone socket on the tape, and the line in socket behind your computer. Start Audograbber and under file select line in sampling. Start off with the tape volume fairly low and adjust till the recording levels are OK just to test. Then simply record to your computer. If you wish to convert to MP you will need an encoder, the instructions for downloading this are in Audiograbber. Hope this helps

You might consider burning the CD to your computer, eliminating the song s that skips and reburning to a new CD to salvage the rest. If the CD repair kit didnt work, there isnt much you can do.

Samsung is actually the best LCD, but Sony is very good also. Philips is a much lower quality tv, Philips sold out its name to a chinese manufacturing company and they dont make the US versions of their tvs.

buy the ps. its a really impressive peice of hardware. if you have an hd tv you have all the more reason to get one, especially since warner bros signing to bluray seems to mean the end of hddvd. gb ps with backwards compatiblity, and a free game to get you started for is pretty good if you ask me. i wish i had waited for the bigger harddrive and free game

The price will drop later, not sooner, as everyone else has stated. However, if you live in the states, I expect that there will be some good promotions on Black Friday, after Thanksgiving. Maybe a free controller, or free game. But the only way to get one cheaper than for the forseeable future is to buy used. BTW, I went to stores this weekend, they were out of Wii at , and the third had one, and someone bought it as I was there. They may be harder to come by this Christmas.
